Zawadi's gift vouchers let a Kenyan business sell digital vouchers on its own page, paid by M-Pesa. Buyers can send a voucher to a friend with a message, the friend spends it at your counter in one go or in parts, and you can also print voucher batches for gifting.

How it works

Create a voucher
Set the value, the price, how long it lasts and how many you want to sell. A KES 2,000 spa voucher can sell for KES 2,000, or less as a promotion.

Customers buy it by M-Pesa
Share your voucher page. Buyers pay by M-Pesa and can send the voucher to someone else's phone with a gift message.

Redeem at the counter
The holder shows the voucher's QR code. Your staff scan it and take what's being spent, and any balance stays on the voucher.

How do customers pay for a voucher?
By M-Pesa on your voucher page. They can keep the voucher or send it to someone else's phone number with a gift message.
Can a voucher be used more than once?
Yes. Each time it's used, your staff take what's being spent and the rest stays on the voucher until it runs out or expires.
How do I receive the money from online sales?
It collects in your voucher wallet in the dashboard. Request a payout to M-Pesa from there, and the Zawadi team processes it.
