Commission worked out for you, every pay day
In a salon or car wash, staff are often paid a share of each job. Zawadi records who did every service as it happens, splits jobs shared between two people, and adds up what each person has earned for the pay period.
Switches on for service businesses such as salons, barbershops and car washes.
Staff commission and payroll
Zawadi's staff commission tool records which staff member did each service at a salon, barbershop or car wash, splits shared jobs, and totals each person's commission for the day, week or month. The default rate is 30%, you can set rates per service or per person, and payslips are ready when you pay.
What you can do
- Split a job between two or more staff, such as a wash and a wax.
- Pay periods by day, week (the default) or month.
- Add adjustments before you mark a period as paid.
- Today's visits, revenue and commission at a glance.
- Switches on automatically for service businesses; no extra plan needed.

How it works
-
Set the rates
Start from 30%, then set a different rate for a service or a staff member where your arrangement differs.
-
Record each job
Log the visit with the service and who did it. For car washes, add the number plate and vehicle type.
-
Pay and print
At the end of the day, week or month, see what each person has earned, add adjustments, mark it paid and print payslips.
Example
A car wash paying washers weekly
A car wash pays 30% commission. A full wash at KES 500 done by two washers earns them KES 75 each. At the end of the week, each washer's payslip lists every car they worked on.
