Fast at the counter
Giving points takes a phone number and an amount, so the queue keeps moving. The customer's SMS confirmation usually arrives before they leave the counter.
About Zawadi
Supermarket loyalty schemes come with card printers, scanners and an IT team. Zawadi runs on the phone or tablet already at your counter, so a local shop, salon or car wash can reward its regulars without buying anything new.
Getting started
You know your regulars by face. Once they leave the counter you have no way to reach them: you took an M-Pesa payment, handed over the goods, and that was it.
Paper loyalty cards get crumpled or left at home. WhatsApp broadcast groups get muted as spam. When a rainy Tuesday empties the shop, you have no way to ask your regulars to come in.
We built Zawadi so an independent business can run a loyalty programme as well as a big chain does. When a customer pays, your cashier records the visit and an SMS confirms their points. If they go quiet, a win-back message brings them back.
With Zawadi, a shop can reward its regulars, send a weekend SMS offer from a phone, and see who is coming back without keeping a notebook.
Our values
Giving points takes a phone number and an amount, so the queue keeps moving. The customer's SMS confirmation usually arrives before they leave the counter.
Every visit is logged with the staff member's PIN, the time and the customer's phone number, so you can see who gave what and check the day's totals from your phone.
Zawadi does one job: bringing your existing customers back more often. You only move to a bigger plan when you open another branch or need more SMS.
Made in Nairobi
Zawadi is built for the Kenyan counter: plans paid by M-Pesa, SMS to customers on any phone, and counter tools a new cashier picks up on their first shift.
