Easy for your customers

A loyalty card that lives on your customer's phone

Customers join with their phone number, by scanning the QR poster at your counter or typing your join code. Those with a smartphone get a free wallet showing every shop they belong to. Everyone else still earns, with updates by SMS.

Customer app and pass

Zawadi gives your customers a digital loyalty card. They join by scanning your QR poster or entering your join code, then see their points, stamps, rewards and history in the free Zawadi Rewards app or on the web. At the counter they show a QR pass, so nobody reads out numbers.

What you can do

  • Free Zawadi Rewards app on Google Play, plus the same wallet on the web.
  • Customers can also join by typing your join code, such as KAHAWA.
  • Rewards ready to use, with a QR code the cashier scans to redeem.
  • Customers see their gift vouchers, bookings and store credit in the same place.
  • Your logo, brand colour, programme name and the name of your points, such as "Kahawa beans".
  • Customers without a smartphone still earn: they're found by phone number and get updates by SMS.

How it works

  1. Put up your QR poster

Download your shop's QR poster from the dashboard and place it by the till. Customers scan it, enter their phone number and they're in.

  2. Customers see their progress

Their wallet shows points, stamp cards, rewards ready to use and what's coming up, for every shop they belong to.

  3. They show a pass at the counter

The pass is a QR code that changes every two minutes. Your cashier scans it to add points, so customers don't need to say their number aloud.

Example

A café regular's morning

Brian scans the QR poster on his first visit and joins in under a minute. A week later his app shows "19 points to Free pastry" and five of nine stamps on the coffee card. At the till he shows his pass, and the cashier scans it.

Questions

Customer app and pass questions

Do customers have to download an app?

No. Joining takes a phone number, and every update goes by SMS. The app and web wallet are optional extras for customers with a smartphone.

Is the app free for customers?

Yes. Zawadi Rewards is free on Google Play, and the web wallet works in any phone browser.

Can customers use one app for several shops?

Yes. Each shop they join appears as its own card in the same wallet, with its own points and rewards.

Why does the pass keep changing?

The QR code renews every two minutes, so a screenshot shared with someone else stops working. It keeps points going to the right person.
