Staff app and controls
Zawadi's staff app lets cashiers find a customer by phone number or QR pass and give points or redeem rewards in a few taps. Each staff member signs in with their own PIN, owners can cap how much each cashier awards a day, and every action is logged.
What you can do
- Owners, managers and cashiers see only what their role allows.
- Set a daily cap on how much spend each cashier can give points for.
- Points given by mistake can be reversed, and the reversal is logged.
- Use the cashier web app or the Zawadi Merchant app on Android.
- An Android home-screen widget shows today's numbers at a glance.

How it works

Add your staff
Give each person a role (owner, manager or cashier) and their own PIN. Staff can also sign in by scanning a login QR code from your dashboard.

Serve the customer
Find them by phone number or scan their pass, enter what they spent or record the visit, and the points land straight away.

Check it later
Every award, reward and reversal is logged with the staff member and time, so you can answer "who gave these points?"

A pharmacy with three counter staff
A pharmacy gives its three cashiers their own PINs and a daily cap of KES 50,000 in awarded spend each. At the end of the month, the owner checks the staff performance screen to see who signed up the most new customers.

What device do my staff need?
The phone or tablet already at your counter. Zawadi runs in the browser and in the Zawadi Merchant app for Android.
How do I stop staff giving points to friends?
Each person signs in with their own PIN, so every award carries their name. You can also set a daily limit on how much spend each cashier can award points for.
Can a cashier change settings or rewards?
No. Cashiers serve customers. Changing rewards, rules and settings is for owners and managers.
